We are following up on our effort to create a local support network for our neighbors facing potential ICE activity. This is a call for your partnership to move this plan from idea to reality.
Your two essential steps to community safety:
1. Digital Defense: Sign up on stopice.net
- This secure app is our shared system to report and receive information on ICE sightings in real-time.
- Action: If you have not done so, please sign up now to ensure our network is functional.
2. Human Defense: Join the Response Team
- We are actively forming a Rapid Response Team to provide immediate, on-the-ground support.
- This team will ensure we have sufficient numbers to safely support, document, etc., any of our brothers and sisters being subjected to bad behavior.
- Action: If you are willing to be an active, on-call member of this team, please reply to this email ASAP with your commitment.
Once we have our list of volunteers, we will set a date for planning and organizing the next steps.
